Neil Garfield From LivingLies Blog Might Be One Big Fat Disappointment

.

Ocotober 4th, 2012

It appears that Neil Garfield from the Livinglies blog might have ended up being ONE BIG FAT DISAPPOINTMENT for many people he has come in contact with from his blog. Now this is not what I said. It is what some people have shared with me about their experience with him. I just agree with them because of my own experience with him here at Piggybankblog.com. This is because Mr. Garfield told me both on and off the air during an interview that he was going to cross-pollinate with my blog for putting a link to his blog from mine. — Neil Garfield interview here It never happened. This is even though I have sent email after email for months now asking him to do what he said he would do.

Neil Garfield also told me he would:

  • Find me other big name guests. (never happened)
  • Post the interview on his blog. (never happened)
  • Said he would interview me on his blog. (never happened)
  • Said he would do a title search for me. (never happened)

It sounds like he says a lot of things that never happen.

Now I am sure there might be some of you out here who think that I should consider that Neil Garfield is just too busy to follow through with the things he says he is going to do because he writes a very popular blog. Well then he needs to cry me a river then. This is because the last time I checked I also write a very popular blog. With that being said — I do understand not being able to get to every single email. What I do not understand is Garfield potentially not having the common sense to use professional courtesy to answer another media persons question. It is really a no brainer when you think about it. I would think he would also have had the professional discretion to know that he needs to follow through with anything that he told that media source he would do. This is because if it were me — I would understand that people might not think I am honest person if I did not follow through with what I said I would do. That is why maybe Mr. Garfield should maybe either put up or shut up next time. This is because others might conclude this is the same way he might act with any service he might offer.

Now don’t get me wrong here. I think Neil Garfield is absolutely brilliant. He is certainly smarter than I am when it comes to the law with this thing where he says the banks do not really own the loans. Then again — he might be so much smarter than me and you that we would not even know if he was full of shit or not. I say this because I have noticed since the interview I did with him that there are a lot of high caliber experts on our side of the fight that say he is full of shit. I am not talking about one or two either. There are even some of the experts who I have heard actually start to get irritated if people even bring up Neil Garfield and his blog. One of them I heard was the attorney who sued and won the case against MERS. This is what someone told me who talked to the attorney fighting MERS. That is because there are some who think that Neil is saying all this stuff on his blog to make money. I don’t know. I also don’t care. What I mean is — I still like reading his bullshit. I just would not give him any of my money. This is because he seems to maybe be a guy who might not do what he says he is going to do in the end. That is just my opinion after my experience with him after the interview. Yet I still like reading his blog because I think he is right on a lot of issues. This is even though I do not know of even ONE SINGLE PERSON that his methods have saved their home. For example, I do not see EVEN ONE SUCCESS STORY ON NEIL GARFIELD’S PAGE. This is also even though I have heard that his title and securitization search is not even really that good. It does not even use the Bloomberg terminal. You certainly would think that a guy who is talking so much about how the banks do not really own your loan would not send you to court with anything less than the best.

For the record — I regret that I had to write this blog today about the things I have heard about and experienced with Mr. Garfield. I also regret that I can not support or suggest that anyone join any lawsuit that is filed by any national law firm that he may start. This is based on the fact that he might have proven to not be a man of his word with me after the interview. I simply do not trust him now.

Update 05/14/13:  Neil Garfield from Living Lies Blog has been quoted as saying that homeowners can walk into the courthouse in foreclosure and walk back out having foreclosed on their lender and receiving the title to their home free and clear of the mortgage or note.  However — for the record — please be advised that after this interview the Ohio courts have uniformly rejected Neil Garfield’s theories.  The courts have found that the question of whether a note has been securitized and there has been a breach of the PSA is wholly irrelevant. This was on the grounds that the borrower is not a party to that contract and hence has no right to object or squawk about it. The courts in Ohio have also recently ruled that the existence of robosigning is also irrelevant so long as the lender has the note or mortgage in its possession at the time that the foreclosure action is commenced with the courts (Ohio is a judicial foreclosure state). The Ohio courts have repudiated every single one of Neil’s theories. That means Garfield’s arguments are guaranteed to lose in states like Ohio. That is based on the fact that two cases were decided by two different courts of appeal on April 23, 2013 and April 25, 2013 that basically just shredded Mr. Garfield’s theories. The decisions basically blew his theories right out of the water. — Decision Two and Decision Two   Therefore – please be advised people need to listen to Mr. Garfield at their own potential peril.

On 12/20/12 M. English posted:  I paid him $279 to determine who owns my alleged loan. Debited my card, heard nothing since 11/13. Bank statement showed GTC Honors Sun Lakes Az US as the recipient. Don’t know who that is. I have called and e mailed several times. Left messages for Danielle his daughter in Florida to no avail. received a confirmation but nothing after that. You are correct, the guy is unethical and not honorable.

Guess I will be filing a complaint with the Arizona Division of consumer affairs tomorrow.

Therefore — all I can say in the end is that “Livinglies” might have ended up being an appropriate name for his blog after all.

I guess Mr. Garfield did not realize my site is not like his.

You see I am a protest blog.

That means I protest when there has been injustice.

I agree Living Lies is definitely a appropriate name for Neil Garfield. I too paid for a loan audit and never received service, returned phone calls, emails, nothing. I had decided I got scammed by a con man.
