  2. Walter Almquist says:

    Dear Mr. Dimon,

I have tried for the past two years to get my house mortgage modified.

After thousands of dollars spent, the proposals that have come back
have been getting larger and the
tune of several hundred tacked on to the payments! Now, I’m a WW2
veteran, and have served honorably for 26 years NAVY. I am also
    currently going for
cancer treatments at the Asheville VA Hospital in NC. I do not need
more stress. I always wanted to leave my house to my son and I want to
keep it… I intend to keep my house. I am on retirement and social
    security only,
and now I am informed that my house will be up for sale soon! I have
requested this modification because I am stuck in an interest only
mortgage that has been a hardship since my wife
died 5 years ago. All I’m asking is for a reasonable payment within
my limited income guidelines. I’m 91 years old this November, and I
don’t think people want to see a man having served
faithfully and have always paid faithfully, wanting to keep my house,
out in the streets,…or looking for an apartment “God Help Me!” My
whole life is here and in this home.

I have had nothing but negative interactions with the customer service
representatives when I can connect with someone at Chase. I would
    gratefully appreciate some assistance here
as I have just recently contacted an attorney to explore other
options. As far as I remember, the payment proposed at the last date
was over 50% of my gross income. And the representative
said so sorry to me but that was that and we aren’t going to offer you
    any more options!!

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

  3. George says:

Travelling around the US in my Motorhome I always appreciated the Chase network and the freindly faces on my travels. That is up until now, Visiting Chase branch at 7050 E Golflinks Rd in Tucson Arizona while my wife shopped for suppies in the Frys Supermarket the branch was in.
For some reason the ATM wasn’t working and when I spoke to the Girl with Black hair hanging over her face, She said I’ll get around to looking at it after lunch. I asked her to cash my check and she said I’m going to lunch he’ll help you. I presume HE was the manager who replied, do me a favor and cash his check Im in the middle of my game. Her attitude was hostile and I happened to ask if she had any $2 bills for the grandkids. She frostily said why don’t I give you the keys so you can look for yourself I told you Im on break. Then as I was leaving she said, hey we could be Bonnie and Clyde and rob every branch then run off to Jamacia.

This may seem like a joke to some but I find it horrifying that a Chase employee would suggest theft in front of a manager, even though his sole purpose seemed to be playing games on his phone.

  4. Dana Spencer says:

I just experienced the most awful business related stress of my life with Chase bank. After a month of negotiations and tons of paperwork required, I got a closing date on a home purchase. Two days before closing, chase informs me they have done a DRIVE-BY second appraisal and the home came in 10,000.00 below what I paid. Needless to say the seller was not willing to drop her price and I certainly was not willing to make up the difference. At 62 I lost the home I wanted to spend the rest of my life in. I’m pulling all my investments out of Chase and going to a local credit union.

  5. Warren D.Pannett Sr. says:

    Mr. Jamie Dimon,

It has been two years now since my wife and I began what we thought was a Mortgage Loan Modification on a rental property on Clovis Ca. During this time the property has gone into a forcloser status and pulled out three times after we had spent Hours upon Hours talking in person to the next highest person in charge whom we were led to as being (THE PERSON WHO COULD GET THINGS DONE) Two days ago we got the word that there was nothing Chase bank could do and that they could not provide a loan modification on said property. Jamie unless you are on the consumer’s side of dealing with chase bank you really have no idea of how Utterly Frustrating it is. Hence this comment to you in hopes that I will get a response from you that is positive. we have had as many as 16 Mortgage loans with Chase at the same time. If in fact Chase has the desire to really help their customers via mortgage loans. Then I sincerely hope to hear back from you Soon before it is too Late
