   I have actively been reading comments on so many people across America who have been mistreated by Bank of America. I lost my home Aug.3 in Arlington,Texas. I feel like I am still in Twilight Zone. In February of 2010 I missed my first mortgage payment and then another in March. That is when I began my modification papers with BofA. They sent a package and I returned in May, Then in May they requested additional info which I sent in June. On around July 12 I received a letter from an attorney in Addison,Texas that my home was going up for Auction on August 3. At first I just thought it was an error. I began calling BofA and probably logged in about 25 hours. They would tell me time and time again that they did not get the papers they requested and I would have to say yes you did I have the tracking number and you can speak to Agent 96 in Houston because she found them. This situation happened a number of times. They would tell me they had no idea why I was being foreclosed on because my modification is still going on. I would get several agents that would say I am going to put in an urgent request to stop the foreclosure and reverse it because your file hasn’t even been looked at. Many agents didn’t know what to tell me. I would get put on hold for ever, or disconnected, transferred from one dept. to another and who knows how many others lies. I also on many occasions I would use the help of agencies like HUD,Make Home Affordable, Green Path to be the third party on the line and they were helpful getting further down the pipeline than I did by myself. I could not stop the foreclosure from happening, hindsight I should of hired an attorney to help me but this was so bizare I really thought BofA would realize what a mistake they had done. It all happened so fast I was swept off my feet. On the day of the sale of my home I was still on the phone with BofA till 10:30 in the morning, my home went up for auction on Aug 3. That afternoon I called BofA to see what was going on, I had third party on the phone with me to help,( might add the conversation was being recorded by her, its what she did) We stayed on hold till we got an agent from the foreclosure dept and he said I was foreclosed on because they did not get my paperwork and the girl helping me said sir what paperwork are you requesting from her, he said” we need another copy of her divorce papers because one page came to us smugged and we also want Lieu of Deed” I interrupted and said I had never gotten anything in the mail requesting that info. The girl helping me said “sir when did BofA request that info ” he said ” on August 3″ She said “sir do you know what today is? Let me get this right BofA is still requesting information from her on August 3 and they foreclosed on her on August 3, is that what you are telling me sir” He was so dumbfounded that he said” I need to transfer you to another dept and then we were disconnected. This has been the most bizzare thing. I really can’t believe they get away with doing this to people all over America. They never once told me to continue paying, or putting me on a trail payment( like it looks like others did) I just did everything they asked me to do. I never got a letter dated August 3rd to get them the information the guy on the phone was talking about. I did get a letter dated August 6th from BofA requesting more information for my modification to send them the tax schedule on my income tax return for 2009. Letter dated 3 days after the auction on my house. I really don’t know what to do, there is no one to help, I can’t fight BofA and they know it. The gov’t isn’t going to help us because they are basically sleeping with BofA. I have about a month to get out of my home. This began in Feb, all I wanted to do was to modify my loan to stay in. I was robbing from my 401 to stay current and was almost out of money. I was told I had to miss payments to go into modification. I landed in foreclosure and was not even given a final option to pay or do anything else. I have called attorneys , gov’t officials, told my story and everyone can’t believe it. But I do get lots of stories how the general population hates BofA. I have lost my home and there is nothing I can do about from what I have been told. But I want to part of a rally or picketing in front of the banks , go to the media. I wrote to Erin Brockevich, I always admired how she helped the little people, I realize this is not her area but it will take someone hugh or with guts to take on the likes of BofA. I don’t know what we can do but make noise and lots of it. Like I said I might of loss my home to these pigs but I want to fight for the cause. Gov’t next time you want to help us, don’t! you are not capable of helping us, have you forgotten who you work for, the people?If anyone reads this I hope to hear back so we can rally in the DFW area….. I also want to go to the media. I also was told to call Fannie Mae and tell them that I am going to go to the media and start a rally against them and BofA. Fannie Mae supposely owns my home now. I hope the ones of ya’ll there get help but for us that have been treated so unfairly lets fight back, something has to change…… Kathy from Arlington,texas
